Meagan Harris is a theatre major with a specialization in acting at Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas, Texas. She is originally from McKinney, Texas where she began studying theatre in her freshman year at McKinney Boyd High School. Beyond college, Meagan is interested in stage performance but also maintains an interest in scenic design and directing.

Meagan’s theatrical training includes vocal lessons with Mrs. Luann Ewbanks and master classes with Tony Award Nominee Ramin Karimloo. In high school, Meagan had the opportunity to compete in International Thespian Society Individual Events at both the State and National levels. Additionally, she participated in One-Act UIL competitions for which she earned Honorable Mention and District awards. Her senior year of high school, Meagan was president of her theatre department. She looks forward with great interest to growing as a performer over the next four years in college.

Some of Meagan’s other skills and interests include: Speaking Spanish, studying Art History (for which she is pursuing a double major at Southern Methodist University), horseback riding, playing the guitar, traveling and reading.
